Guidelines for “Spontaneous Responders”

Responders must:

Hold a valid amateur radio license.

Have a power source which will allow them to remain on-air throughout the incident duration.

Check in and out with the Resource Net (usually operating on KJ4CLL/R [145.330, -600kHz, PL 123.0])

Not deploy to any location unless they receive a documented mission from the Marion County Emergency Operations Center or the State of Florida Emergency Operations Center in Tallahassee.

Respond to any inquiries from the Emergency Coordinator (or their designated Assistant Emergency Coordinator) in regards to capabilities or certifications.

Inform the EC (or designated AEC) of their desire to be delisted from the verified resource list, or upgrade to regular roster member.
